KKUIC Organizes International Excursion in Cambodia

During 4-8 January, 2017, Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC) organized an excursion in Siem Reap, Cambodia for 15 lecturers and 12 third-year students. The trip led by the Dean, Prof.Dr. La-orsri Sanoamuang was aimed to strengthen international experience and understanding of Asian cultures for Thai and foreign lecturers and to integrate learning program to outside classroom activities in the international environment for students. The trip has been conducted once every year and all third year students are eligible for the trip with no expense. Siem Reap, Cambodia was chosen to be the destination this year due to its reputation as a UNESCO world heritage center. The highlight of the visit was Angkor Archaeological Park, the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia which includes Temple of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and the Bayon Temple. Other visited places were Banteay Srei and Ta Prohm temples, Tonle Lake, and Night market. All participants also got an opportunity to use local motorbike tours around the Angkor.
