KKUIC Direct Admission (R.2.2)
KKUIC offers direct admissions to select both Thai and international students independently based on our own qualifications, criteria, and entrance examinations.
ADMISSION TIMELINE
Apply online through apply-ic.kku.ac.th
Announce the list of eligible applicants for writing examinations and interview via apply-ic.kku.ac.th.
Online writing examinations and interview through the Zoom Meeting application
Announce the results of admission and English proficiency test via apply-ic.kku.ac.th.
Clearing House through student.mytcas.com (for Thai candidates only)
Release the notification of admission acceptance via apply-ic.kku.ac.th.
- Online new student registration and tuition fee payment at reg.kku.ac.th.
- Admission fee of 10,000 THB shall be paid at feeic.kku.ac.th
English for Specific and Academic Purposes (ESAP) onsite class starts.
The college semester starts.
Applicant Qualifications
- Being Thai or foreign nationality or legally residing in Thailand.
- Being a high school students with the GPAX (5-6 semesters) ≥ 2.00. For those applicants who do not meet the specified criteria, they will be at the discretion of the KKUIC Admissions Committee.
Acceptable graduation criteria (meeting one of the following):
- Diploma from a Thai secondary school (Matthayom 6 / Vocational Certificate / Non-Formal Education)
- Diploma from an international school in Thailand (US Grade 12 / AS/A-Level / IB Diploma / IB Course Result / BTEC / French Baccalaureate)
- Diploma from a foreign high school or equivalent diploma with the High School Equivalence Certificate in one of the following ways:
- General Educational Development (GED) Credential: Applicants must have a minimum total score of 600 points, with a minimum of 145 points in each subject, and must provide their academic transcript prior to the GED exam.
- Grade 12 in the US education system or Grade 13 in the UK education system or New Zealand education system by passing the National Certificate of Education Achievement (NCEA) under the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA)
⚠️ All applicants who hold a foreign diploma or the GED credential must proceed the equivalency certification through the Ministry of Education, Thailand. Please follow the instruction below to get the High School Equivalence Certificate.
High School Equivalence Certificate
- For applicants with a foreign High School Diploma on hand.
- For applicants with the GED Credential with a minimum of 145 points in each subject.
- Enter the High School Certificate Equivalency System at hsces.atc.chula.ac.th
- Request for the High School Equivalence Certificate and GPAX Equivalence Certificate
⚠️ The process will be completed within 7 working days after payment confirmed.
Criteria
Applicants without English and mathematics test results
- Writing examination
- The applicants for all programs without English test results must take the online English examination offered by KKUIC on the interview date. If the test result meets our criteria, the applicant doesn’t need to enroll the English for Specific Academic Purposes (ESAP) courses.

The applicants for B.B.A. in Global Business (GB), International Marketing (IM), International Entrepreneurship (IE) without math test results
must take the online math examination offered by KKUIC on the interview date.
- Interview
- The applicants must attend the online interview in English.
Applicants with English and mathematics test results
1. Applicants for all programs can submit one of
the following English proficiency test results:
- IELTS (Academic) ≥ Overall 5.0
- TOEFL (iBT) ≥ 61
- TOEFL (ITP) ≥ 500
- SAT Reading and Writing ≥ 450

CEFR ≥ B1
- EnglishScore ≥ 320 (Core Skill & Speaking Test)
- Linguaskill ≥ 155
2. The applicants for B.B.A. programs can submit SAT Math ≥ 450 as a mathematics proficiency test result.
⚠️ Test results must be valid no more than 2 years since the examination date.
- Interview
- The applicants who submitted English/Mathematics proficiency test results can directly attend the online interview in English and no need to take the writing examination.
- The applicants who don’t meet the admission criteria must enroll in the English for Specific and Academic Purposes (ESAP) course, and be charged for all expenses. Read the announcement regarding the ESAP course, click here.
- In case of the applicants who don’t meet any requirement, they will be evaluated by the KKUIC Admission Committee, and the committee’s judgement is final.
- The applicants who apply for the KKUIC Direct Admission must not previously confirm their eligibility through the TCAS admission system.
Entrance Examinations
Applicants without English and mathematics test results
- Writing examination
- The applicants for all programs without English test results must take the online English examination offered by KKUIC on the interview date. If the test result meets our criteria, the applicant doesn’t need to enroll the English for Specific Academic Purposes (ESAP) courses.
