Igniting the power of youth to become leaders of change for peace and justice!
On May 9, KKUIC held a special seminar that provided an opportunity for young people to simulate diplomatic scenarios, engage in challenging missions, and participate in ice-breaking activities to enhance their roles in driving SDG 16.
Throughout the day, participants gained invaluable experiences, learned essential skills, and drew inspiration from experts, including Mr. Wongsakorn Chaichana, Chief of Passport Office, Khon Kaen, who shared beneficial insights.

“The ‘Youth as Changemakers: SDG 16 for Peace and Justice’ seminar provided a diverse and engaging experience to empower young people to become leaders of change. Participants delved into key aspects of global citizenship and practical action through various interactive activities, including:”

Mission-Based Challenges: The seminar incorporated thought-provoking tasks that challenged participants to collaboratively address specific problems related to peace, justice, and strong institutions, aligning with SDG 16. These challenges required the application of critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork in a practical context. By tackling these missions, participants explored different approaches and potential solutions to complex global issues.
Ice-Breaking & Networking Activities: To foster a connected and collaborative environment, the seminar included interactive games and exercises designed to break the ice and encourage networking. These activities provided opportunities for participants to meet and build relationships with fellow attendees who share similar interests in global issues and leadership. This facilitated the exchange of ideas and the creation of a supportive network.
Real-world insights from experts: A valuable component of the seminar involved learning directly from professionals with practical experience in fields related to peace, justice, and strong institutions. These experts shared firsthand perspectives, knowledge, and real-world examples, providing attendees with a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities within these areas. Participants had the chance to ask questions and engage in discussions, gaining valuable insights into potential career paths and ways to make a tangible difference.
With the success of this event, KKUIC is committed to continuing such initiatives to nurture youth into future leaders of change.
