Fourth-year students from the Bachelor of Business Administration program in International Marketing, International College, Khon Kaen University, organized the “Fourward ThaiJoyLand: The Land of Four Regions” event under the course IC114761 International Marketing Seminar. The festival was held from April 25-27, 2025, at the western shore of Sri Than Lake, Khon Kaen University.

The event successfully created a marketplace gathering diverse food vendors from all regions of Thailand—the North, Central, South, and Northeast—while supporting local SME entrepreneurs. The festival featured environmental campaigns through waste reduction and proper waste sorting. Attendees enjoyed various activities such as water boxing, game booths, and live music performances by International College students.
The opening ceremony was held on Friday, April 25, 2025, with Asst. Prof. Sirimonbhorn Thipsingh, Dean of the International College, presiding over the ceremony.
For this event, students applied their marketing knowledge to real-world situations, from strategic planning and coordination with stakeholders to budget management and solving unexpected problems.

“Besides practicing management skills, what we are most proud of is participating in promoting Thai culture and food, alongside raising environmental awareness. This event allowed us to learn about teamwork, leadership, and social responsibility,” a student representative stated.
The atmosphere at the event was vibrant, with numerous attendees including students, staff, and the general public, reflecting the success of the students’ marketing planning and public relations efforts. It also demonstrated the potential of International College students in applying classroom knowledge to organize activities beneficial to society.
