Congratulations to the KKUIC Basketball Club on winning the championship in the KKU Freshmen 2023 competition at the Multipurpose Sports Stadium, Khon Kaen University on September 1, 2023.
The KKUIC Basketball Club has nominated both men’s and women’s basketball teams to participate in the “KKU Freshmen 2023” basketball tournaments. The competition took place from August 26 to September 4, 2023, with a total of 4 matches to determine the top team from each race line. In the final round, the men’s basketball team from KKUIC Basketball Club faced off against the team from the College of Local Administration and emerged as the winner with a score of 63-54. Unfortunately, the women’s basketball team made it to the second round but lost to the Faculty of Agriculture with a score of 9-11.
Overall, Khon Kaen University International College places importance on empowering students to pursue their interests beyond teaching and learning in class through participation in “KKUIC Student Clubs.” KKUIC students have the opportunity to join more than 1 club, including sports and fitness clubs, music and arts clubs, communication clubs, and clubs focused on academic development. Joining these clubs allows students to learn about organizing various activities, both within and outside the university, and develop skills in time management, planning, and problem-solving, which are valuable for their future careers and lives as quality global citizens.
