KKUIC Hosts UWA Representatives to Strengthen International Education Partnership

On June 4, 2025, the International College of Khon Kaen University (KKUIC) welcomed Ms. Sarah Rudling, Marketing and Communications Manager from the University of Western Australia (UWA), and Ms. Chonnikarn Chaihuadcharoen, Manager – Academic Counsellor from i-study, during their official visit to Khon Kaen University for a meeting on academic and international education collaboration. The meeting was held at the International College meeting room from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., coordinated by the International Affairs Division of Khon Kaen University.

The University of Western Australia (UWA), ranked 77th in the QS World University Rankings 2025, is a world-renowned institution located in Perth, Australia, known for its research excellence, diverse academic offerings, and strong industry connections.
🤝 Key topics discussed during the meeting included the Study Abroad Program, which provides students from Khon Kaen University the opportunity to gain international academic experience, Internship Abroad Opportunities, and Study Tour Collaboration – short-term educational programs (ranging from 1 to 5 weeks) designed to enhance experiential learning outside the classroom. The discussion also included potential institutional partnership agreements to support long-term collaboration between the institutions.

This meeting marked a significant step forward in strengthening academic cooperation between KKU International College and the University of Western Australia, paving the way for continued and sustainable opportunities for international exchange and learning for KKU students.
