KKUIC’s BBA Students Dive into Real-World Commerce with ‘Bangkok Business & Trade Tour 2025

Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC) continues to bridge the gap between academic theory and professional practice with the successful completion of the “BBA Bangkok Business & Trade Tour 2025.” Held across three sessions in November (7-8, 14-15, and 28-29, 2025), this intensive program offered Bachelor of Business Administration students a firsthand look at Thailand’s dynamic business landscape.

The tour was meticulously designed to promote Experiential Learning, a core philosophy of the KKUIC BBA program. By stepping out of the lecture hall, students gained exclusive access to industry giants and key government agencies driving the nation’s economy. The itinerary covered a diverse spectrum of sectors, including logistics, agriculture technology, finance, digital commerce, and the creative economy.

The visiting sites included:

  • Logistics & Supply Chain: Hazchem Logistics Management.

    Agri-Tech: Distar Fresh Farm.

  • Finance & Economics: The Bank of Thailand Learning Centre.

  • Government & Policy: The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA).

  • Creative Economy & Retail: Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Suan Dusit Arun, and the iconic ICONSIAM.

This initiative provided more than just observation; it was a catalyst for professional growth. Students witnessed how theories in management, marketing, and international trade are applied in real-time scenarios. Furthermore, the trip played a crucial role in strengthening bonds among peers, fostering the teamwork and communication skills that are vital in the modern workplace.

By exposing students to such high-caliber organizations, KKUIC ensures its graduates enter the job market with confidence, critical thinking abilities, and a practical understanding of international trade environments—competencies that are highly sought after by top employers today.
