Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC) is set to host the charity event “KKUIC The Insider 11 – Water Fiesta Run” to raise funds for medical equipment for the Rehabilitation Medicine Department at Srinagarind Hospital, benefiting stroke patients and others requiring rehabilitation.
The event will take place on May 10, 2025, under the “Summer Splash” theme, featuring 5km and 9km running distances. Highlights include cooling water sprays along the route, a water play zone at the finish line, and a concert by Bedroom Audio band along with popular artists Tobii, IRONBOY, and Archy.
Participants can choose from three packages: 5km, 9km, and VIP package with additional privileges. Registration is available through the Thai Run website, with more details on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok: KKUIC The Insider.
Mr. Thanon Thanasarnkosit, Project Chairman, stated, “We hope ‘Water Fiesta Run’ will raise awareness about stroke and help patients access more effective treatment.”
Asst. Prof. Sirimonbhorn Thipsingh, Dean of KKUIC, emphasized that this project provides an important opportunity for fourth-year students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings while reinforcing the college’s mission of developing sustainability and social responsibility.
