KKUIC x MFA, Thailand organized the seminar on “Diplomats and diplomacy for the people”.

On May 26, 2023 at 1:00-4:30, Khon Kaen University International College, in collaboration with the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thailand, organized a seminar on “Diplomats and Diplomacy for the People.” The seminar was conducted in English in Room M301, 3rd Floor, Academic Center and Fundamentals Learning Building, Khon Kaen University.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Chavis Ketkaew, the Associate Dean for Strategy, Research, and International Affairs, KKUIC, presided over the seminar’s opening ceremony and welcomed special guest speakers and MFA team. The speakers were Naruchai Ninnad, Deputy Director-general of the Department of Consular Affairs (DCA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA); and Mr. Santiphong Thongchapo, Second Secretary, Protection of Thai Nationals Abroad Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The atmosphere at the seminar was orderly and participants were excited about the games. Guest speakers shared their knowledge and answered students’ questions about diplomatic career paths. They provided insights into the profession of diplomats and talked about diplomatic missions. All of the speakers’ stories include real-life experiences, case studies, and successful missions to protect Thai people abroad.
