Master of Science in Biodiversity and Environmental Management

This multi-disciplinary master program is designed to focus on cross functional roles and importance of biodiversity, environment and management in different contexts e.g. natural diversity (animals, plants,and micro-organisms) and environment, urban and rural development, utilization and sustainability of natural resources, climate change, technological and innovative breakthroughs. Various courses are offered in this program combined with research project through 12-credit thesis.

Qualification of Applicants

1. Degree Requirements

A candidate should have a Bachelor of Science/Technology degree or any other relevant degree to qualify for admission.

2. Procedure and Important Documents

Start your request for admission to a master’s degree program following this link: gs.kku.ac.th. Generate a user account to access the KKUIC application platform. Then, upload electronic documents to support your application. The required documents are:

1) A photo size 3X4 cm with no hat or sunglasses, taken within 6 months.
2) A copy of ID card (Thai applicant) or Passport (Foreign applicant)
3) A copy of Housing registration (For Thai applicant only)
4) A copy of academic transcripts or an equivalent document
5) An English language certificate: IELTS, TOFEL, or an equivalence.
6) A statement of purpose (700-900 words in PDF format). Please upload this letter under “Other Document.”

3. Program Duration and Fees

This program takes a minimum of 1.5 years (3 semesters), including coursework and an independent study/thesis and study abroad program (optional).
Thai students incur a tuition fee of 50,000 THB per semester.
International students incur a fee of 65,000 THB per semester (tuition fee of 50,000 THB plus international student fee of 15,000 THB).
