The Thailand Macro Business Simulation 2026 was successfully held on March 7, 2026, at Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus. This national competition provides a platform for university students to showcase their business management and strategic planning skills through a high-fidelity business simulation. This year’s event saw intense competition from 176 teams representing 22 universities across Thailand.
Representing Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC), a team of fourth-year International Marketing students delivered an outstanding performance:

Under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phaninee Naruetharadhol and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chavis Ketkaew, the team successfully advanced to the “Upper Class” round. Furthermore, they earned the prestigious opportunity to compete at the international stage at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) on June 6-7, 2026. This milestone highlights the students’ exceptional capabilities in business analysis and strategic decision-making within a dynamic market environment.
This achievement demonstrates our students’ ability to effectively bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application. Advancing to the international round in Hong Kong is a significant step in their professional development as future global business leaders.
This competition also aligns with key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 4 (Quality Education) through experiential learning, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by fostering entrepreneurial skills, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by enhancing collaborative academic and business networks.
