Our Lifelong Learning Center had the great opportunity to welcome 130 international high school students and 10 teachers from the Don Bosco EP-IP Department on Saturday, 20th-21st July 2024. The camp provided students with opportunities to acquire important skills that are not always explicitly taught in the classroom, such as sportsmanship, positive peer relations, social skills, and a sense of belonging through interactive activities and games.
The activities aligned with the mission of KKUIC Lifelong Learning Center to provide knowledge and experience to participants in a fun and innovative way, under the theme “Empowering Sustainable Futures.”
Our beloved dean gave a friendly welcoming speech to start the event, and certificates were awarded the next day at the Natural History and Science Museums. The camp activities aimed to offer a different physical setting that fostered bonds among campers and created a learning community through hands-on experiences. The camp was supported by KKUIC’s recreational cheer, dance, and music clubs, which contributed to the lively atmosphere throughout the event.
