During February 3-5, 2025, Khon Kaen University led by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University, Assoc. Prof. Issara Kanjug, Ph.D., Dean of Faculty of Education, Asst. Prof. Sirimonbhorn Thipsingh, Dean of International College, Asst. Prof. Sirisak Laochankham, Ph.D., Dean of College of Local Administration, along with KKU executives and deans, signed an MOU with the Association of Private Education in Vientiane, Lao PDR.
A key highlight of this collaborative visit was the organization of a workshop titled “Innovative Classroom Management,” focusing on developing modern classroom management techniques. The delegation also visited private schools within the Association of Private Education network to exchange experiences and educational management approaches between the two countries.
The official MOU signing ceremony took place on February 5, 2025, at the International Conference Hall, Latsavong Wanda Vista Vientiane Hotel. The ceremony was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University, who expressed his congratulations and emphasized the importance of academic cooperation. Meanwhile, Dr. Khamsen Sisavong, President of the Association of Private Education of Lao PDR, and Assoc. Prof. Issara Kanjug, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, also addressed the significance of this collaboration.
This partnership marks a significant step toward elevating educational standards in both countries, creating opportunities for students and educational personnel to exchange knowledge and experiences. The collaboration aims to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness and establish a strong educational network in the region.
Through this cooperation, both institutions will work together to develop innovative teaching methods, facilitate academic exchanges, and strengthen the educational bonds between Thailand and Laos, ultimately contributing to the advancement of education in Southeast Asia.
