
On July 21, 2025, KKUIC had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, their visit was to further enable the growing academic collaboration between the two institutions. This visit followed KKUIC’s official visit to Leicester in March 2025. The delegation was led by Prof. Sarina Wakefield, Dean of International, College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities; Prof. James Fitchett, Deputy Head of the College of Business; Mr. Paul Angrave, Director of Public Affairs; and Ms. Tien Tien, Global Recruitment & Conversion Officer. The group also visited Khon Kaen University.

During the visit, the KKUIC Dean and the management team engaged in productive discussions with the Leicester team, exploring opportunities for cooperation in areas such as progression agreements, student mobility programmes, joint research, and teaching programmes initiatives.
The delegation also met various KKU Faculty members at the President Office to discuss a broader collaboration. Ranked 191st in the world, the University of Leicester is a valued academic partner. This visit marks a meaningful step forward in aligning shared goals and building a long-term relationship between the institutions.
