On Thursday, 25 September 2025, KKUIC International Affairs Division had the privilege of hosting a special session with M.L. Pleum Nattakorn Devakula, who shared his insights on pressing international issues at Khon Kaen University – International College (KKUIC).

Our students engaged in thought-provoking dialogue, raising questions on topics such as:
The growing number of countries recognising Palestine and whether this stabilises or complicates the situation.
The future of U.S. politics after Trump.
The limited support of superpowers for international organisations like the UN and ASEAN in solving regional and global problems.

Beyond offering expertise, M.L. Pleum guided our students to refine the way questions are asked, to set realistic expectations, and to focus on discovering and pursuing what each of us does best in life. His encouragement highlighted that true success comes from excelling in the things we are most passionate about.
The session was dynamic, casual, and film-themed, transforming what could have been a heavy or formal discussion into an engaging and inclusive exchange on world affairs.
It is the Division’s deepest honour to arrange such an eye-opening experience for our students, made possible by the generosity and knowledge of M.L. Pleum Nattakorn Devakula.
