KKUIC Hosts “From the News Desk to the World Stage” Workshop: Enhancing Strategic Communication Skills with a Global Expert

On May 2, 2026, the Communication Arts Department at Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC) organized a special seminar for the Public Relations and Journalism courses titled “From the News Desk to the World Stage: Public Image and Strategic Communication.” The event featured guest speaker Ms. Chanita Craythorne (Sammy), an English news anchor and Mrs. World 2025, who shared her extensive international professional experience.
Activity Highlights:
News Headlines: Developing headline-writing skills to understand the principles of news broadcasting and how wording can influence audience perception.
Personal Branding: Building a credible and professional digital identity in the modern era.
Crisis Communication: A simulation workshop on managing communication during crises, focusing on ethical problem-solving and maintaining trust.
As Mrs. World 2025, Khun Sammy represents Thailand on a global stage, where communication, public image, and cultural representation are essential. This role requires confidence, professionalism, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse global audiences.
Through her experience, students can learn the importance of building a strong personal brand, maintaining credibility in the public eye, and preparing themselves to become the next generation of professional communicators—experts in both image management and professional ethics—ready to contribute to society in the digital age.
