On February 26, 2026, Asst. Prof. Sirimonbhorn Thipsingh, Dean of Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Regina (U of R), Canada. The signing ceremony took place at the JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok With coordination support from the Embassy of Canada to Thailand.
The agreement establishes a framework for academic collaboration, including student and faculty exchanges, joint research initiatives, and other cooperative programs designed to enhance international engagement. The event was attended by representatives from the Government of Saskatchewan and the Embassy of Canada to Thailand, including The Honourable Ken Cheveldayoff, Saskatchewan Minister of Advanced Education, and Dr. Jeff Keshen, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Regina.
Other participating Thai institutions included the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University; Srinakharinwirot University; and King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok.
The partnership reinforces KKUIC’s commitment to expanding global academic networks and strengthening Thailand–Canada collaboration.
