KKUIC, led by Nathakorn Loedphacharakamon, Ph.D. Associate Dean for Education, Student Empowerment, and Relations Management, together with Wei Yang, Ph.D. Department Chair of Arts, Social Sciences, and Linguistics & General Education, faculty members, and supporting staff of KKUIC, continues to promote students’ potential through the “KKUIC International Study Trips for 3rd Year Students” project. The project brought third-year students to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for an international study trip.
The project aims to provide students with opportunities to learn through real-world experiences in an international context, broaden their global perspectives, exchange cultural, economic, and social knowledge, and apply the knowledge and experiences gained to their studies, future careers, and daily lives.
To ensure effective student support and management, the trip was divided into two rounds as follows:
Round 1: 31 May – 4 June 2026
Round 2: 1 – 5 June 2026
One of the key highlights of the trip was the visit to UEH-International School of Business, where KKUIC students and staff received a warm welcome from the host university. The program featured a music performance by LOM Club, welcoming remarks, and an introduction to the university in a friendly atmosphere. Students also participated in a workshop titled “Vietnamese Economy and Its Transformation,” which provided valuable insights into Vietnam’s economy and its current transformation. In addition, students joined interactive mini-games and took group photos together, creating a memorable atmosphere filled with knowledge, enjoyment, and meaningful experiences.
KKUIC hopes that this international study trip will help strengthen students’ confidence, life skills in an international environment, global perspectives, and new inspiration. These experiences will prepare third-year students to become capable and qualified Global Citizens in the future.
