KKUIC Global Pathways: 3rd-Year Students Embark on Educational and Historical Journey in Hanoi

KKUIC led by Dr. Thawatchai Worrakittimalee, lecturer of International Affairs Program continues to drive student potential by organizing the “International Study Trips for 3rd Year Students.” This year, 3rd-year students traveled to Hanoi, Vietnam, from June 7 – 9, 2026, to gain international learning experiences, broaden their perspectives, exchange cultures, and inspire them to confidently step forward as quality global citizens.

Beyond academic learning, students had the valuable opportunity to immerse themselves in rich history and culture. The delegation visited a registered UNESCO World Heritage Site and explored the Vietnam Military History Museum. This excursion provided students with deep insights into Vietnam’s historical background, cultural roots, and its remarkable transformation over the decades through world-class heritage sites.
Another key highlight of the trip was the institutional visit to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), one of Vietnam’s premier universities. Under the framework of the Academic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the institutions, the KKUIC delegation received a warm welcome and enjoyed a special lunch hosted by VNU-USSH. This visit offered an excellent platform for students to exchange academic viewpoints and lifestyle experiences with international peers, fostering strong global friendships in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

KKUIC envisions that this educational trip to Hanoi will enhance the students’ confidence, cross-cultural adaptability, and inspire all 3rd-year students to effectively apply their international experiences and global knowledge to their future studies and careers.
