On Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 09:00 AM, the master’s students of the Ugly Veggies team from Khon Kaen University – International College (KKUIC), majoring International Technology and Innovation Management, participated in the Prime Minister’s Award for Health Promotion Innovation 2023. The competition, organized by the Health Promotion Foundation (HPF), saw their entry in both the General Public and Startup categories. After successfully passing through the selection process, they emerged as one of the final eight teams out of 250, positioning themselves as national representatives vying for a funding opportunity of 150,000 Baht to further develop their innovative project. The final competition took place at SafeFire Room 204-206, 2nd floor, Impact Forum, Muang Thong Thani, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province.

The Ugly Veggies team’s participation in this prestigious event not only showcases their commitment but also positions them as recipients of the HPF’s financial support, contributing to the ongoing development of health promotion initiatives.

The Prime Minister’s Award for Health Promotion Innovation 2022 aims to foster knowledge enhancement and creative thinking, ultimately improving innovative health promotion efforts. The competition expanded its target audience this year, including high school students (M.6) and vocational students (M.5). Two additional categories were introduced: General Public/Startup and Networking Communities HPF, aiming to elevate the practical application of innovative initiatives.

Participating in this event is a testament to our commitment to supporting students’ ideas and innovations, encouraging the practical application of innovative solutions. It also aligns with KKUIC’s mission to address the needs of diverse target groups.
