Qualification of Applicants

1. Thai Applicants

1.1. Admission Channels

1.1.1 Thai students who have completed Matthayom 6 or equivalent in the Thai education system can apply through the following channels: Portfolio Admission (TCAS1), KKU Quota (TCAS2), Nation Wide Direct Admission (TCAS3), Admission (TCAS4), and KKUIC Direct Admission and TCAS5.

1.1.2 Thai students who have completed Grade 12 from abroad or an equivalent degree from a non-Thai educational system can apply through the KKUIC Direct Admission channel (the opening will be announced periodically 2-3 times a year) and TCAS5.

1.2 Qualifications

1.2.1 Completed Matthayom 6 or Grade 12 (non-Thai educational system) or an equivalent degree.

1.2.2 GPAX 5 Semester ≥ 2.00 out of 4.00 or GPAX 6 Semester ≥2.00 out of 4.00 or equivalent

1.2.3 Valid English test result: IELTS ≥ 5.0; or TOEFL Paper-based ≥ 500, TOEFL Computer-based ≥ 173, TOEFL Internet-based ≥ 61; or SAT Reading and Writing Part ≥ 450

1.2.4 Valid Mathematics test result: SAT Math part ≥ 450 (SAT Math only for International Entrepreneurship, Global Business, International Marketing, and Tourism Management)

1.2.5 Applicants without the scores in section 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 can apply but will have to take the KKUIC direct admission examination. Those without the score in 1.2.3 will have to take the International College English Placement Test (ICEPT) and those without the score in 1.2.4 will have to take the Mathematics Placement Test.

2. Foreign Applicants

2.1. Admission Channels

2.1.1 Foreign students who have completed Grade 12 or an equivalent degree from a non-Thai educational system can apply through the KKUIC Direct Admission channel (the opening will be announced periodically 2-3 times a year) and TCAS5.

2.2. Qualifications

2.2.1 Completed Grade 12 or submitted the GED score for an applicant with a vocational degree (acceptable threshold ≥ 580 points; with ≥ 145 points for each section)

2.2.2 GPAX 5 Semester ≥ 2.00 out of 4.00 or GPAX 6 Semester ≥2.00 out of 4.00 or equivalent

2.2.3 For non-native English speaking applicants, valid English test result: IELTS ≥ 5.0; or TOEFL Paper-based ≥ 500, TOEFL Computer-based ≥ 173, TOEFL Internet-based ≥ 61; or SAT Reading and Writing Part ≥ 450

2.2.4 Valid Mathematics test result: SAT Math part ≥ 450 (SAT Math only for International Entrepreneurship, Global Business, International Marketing, and Tourism Management)

2.2.5 Applicants without the scores in section 2.2.3 and 2.2.4 can apply but will have to take the KKUIC direct admission examination. 3. Application Process

3.1 Admission channels:

3.2 Important documents to be uploaded:

1) A photo size 3×4 cm with no hat or sunglasses, taken no longer than 6 months ago. (Stickers / Scanned photos are not allowed)Your name printed in capital letters on the back of each photo.

2) A copy of ID card or Alien certificate or Passport

3) A copy of Housing registration (For Thai applicant only)

4) A copy of academic transcripts (GPAX) or an equivalent document

5) A copy of English and Math proficiency test score: IELTS, TOFEL, and SAT (If any)

6) A recommendation letter from the institute where the high school degree was attained (If any)

7) A copy of name change certificate (If any)

3.3 Application fee:

TCAS 1, 2, 3, and 4 (the rate according to the KKU announcement and paid via QR code)

KKUIC Direct Admission and TCAS 5 (1,500 THB paid online by credit card)

**Note: Admission fee of 10,000 baht is paid only once for the first semester of year 1. The stated fees do not include the fee for a pre-college preparation course which will be applied when the student is accepted under English language conditions.
