Q1: Who can apply for an exchange program?

Applicants must be full-time students at KKUIC , in good disciplinary standing. The program is generally open to 2nd-year undergraduate students or above, as well as graduate students.

Q2: What is the difference between a Study Abroad and an Exchange Program?

Exchange Program: Students go to one of KKUIC’s partner universities. Tuition fees are waived, and credits earned can be transferred back to KKUIC. You only need to cover living expenses and other personal costs.

Study Abroad: Students apply independently to overseas universities (not limited to partners). Tuition fees are usually paid directly to the host institution, and the transfer of credits depends on approval by KKUIC.

Q3: Do I have to pay tuition fees abroad?

Tuition fees are generally waived at partner universities. However, students must be ready to cover living expenses, travel, and insurance. Some programs require proof of sufficient funds, unless scholarship support is provided.

Q4: How do I select courses that match my degree?

You should start by checking the course catalog on the host university’s website and choose the subjects you want to study. Then:
1. Compare the subjects with your program requirements to ensure they are transferable or equivalent.
2. Fill out the official Course Matching Form.
3. Consult with your academic advisor to get approval.
4. Once approved, submit the form through the Jotform Application System as part of your application

Q5: How much is the cost of living for each region?

The cost of living varies widely depending on the country, city, and lifestyle. For example:
1. Asia – Lower to moderate costs (approx. 15,000–30,000 THB/month).
2. Europe – Moderate to higher costs (approx. 30,000–50,000 THB/month).
3. North America – Higher costs (approx. 40,000–60,000 THB/month).
4. Oceania – Similar to Europe or North America (approx. 35,000–55,000 THB/month).

It’s recommended that you prepare a financial plan before applying and consult with former exchange students for real-life estimates.

Q6: Is there a scholarship provided by KKUIC?

Yes. KKUIC provides financial support ranging from 30,000–50,000 THB to selected students who join exchange programs. This support is intended to reduce part of the costs such as airfare, accommodation, or living expenses.
