On Friday, August 16, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, at Kaen Kaew Lifehouse, 28th Floor, AdLib Khon Kaen Hotel, Khon Kaen Province Khon Kaen University – International College (KKUIC) led by Dr. Wanwisa Wannapipat, Associate Dean for Student Empowerment and Organizational Happiness, and Mr. Thanatat Chitpipat. Division Chair of Innovation for Academic Service and External Collaboration participated in the DigiNext: Isan Digital Hub event, where the Minister of Digital Economy and Society met with digital startups.
The event featured insightful presentations from local residents, influencers, and local product exhibitors.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Prasert Chantharawongthong, Minister of Digital Economy and Society
, who opened the event and shared his vision of promoting Khon Kaen as the Isan Digital Hub. Meanwhile, Asst. Prof. Natthaphon Nimmanphatcharin (Ph.D), Executive Director of the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), discussed the origins of the event and policies to promote the application of digital technology in the agricultural sector at the local level.
Finally, before the event concluded, the Digital Economy Promotion Agency outlined its mission to promote and support the development of the digital industry and innovation, and to encourage the application of digital technology to benefit the economy and society, aligning with the diverse context of the area. The agency recognizes the importance of developing, promoting, and supporting entrepreneurs to enhance their knowledge, understanding, and skills to apply digital technology effectively and sustainably.
