The atmosphere was filled with warmth and joy as faculty and staff welcomed the new students, encouraging them to learn, grow, and become valuable members of society.

This year’s orientation, themed around cultural diversity and artificial intelligence (AI), created a futuristic ambiance that greatly appealed to students. Post-event evaluations showed high satisfaction rates and increased interest in future KKUIC activities.

Dean Sirimonbhorn Thipsingh emphasized KKUIC’s direction in developing students as “Global Citizens” with international competence. The focus is on applying AI technology to enhance education and work potential while promoting awareness and acceptance of cultural and social diversity.

The orientation marks a crucial starting point in guiding KKUIC students towards becoming well-rounded Global Citizens, equipped with AI technology skills and the ability to understand global social diversity. Special thanks were extended to the Student Engagement (SE) team and KKUIC Student Union for their dedication in organizing activities that connected students from various nationalities and cultures. These activities, ranging from academic to recreational and social, were designed to promote understanding of cultural diversity and strengthen bonds between Thai and international students. This year’s event not only fostered student connections but also reflected KKUIC’s vision of promoting education in an international environment and preparing students to become global citizens skilled in working in diverse and complex settings.
