KKUIC Explores Collaborations with AIT Extension and CIFAL Bangkok

On November 22, 2024, Khon Kaen University – International College (KKUIC)‘s delegation, led by Dean Asst. Prof. Sirimonbhorn Thipsingh, Dean, Ajarn Jittima Kraisriwattana Division chair of Creative Lifelong Learning Curriculam, and Ajarn. Thanatat Chitpipat. Division Chair of Innovation for Academic Service and External Collaboration, visited the AIT Extension at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Voravate Chonlasin, Executive Director of AIT Extension, and Ms. Narumon Wangnai, Program Director and Senior Program Specialist.

Discussions focused on potential collaborations to develop professional education and short-course training programs under the Center for International Creative Lifelong Learning (ICL) at KKUIC. These courses aim to enhance professional skills and serve both students and the surrounding community. Additionally, the dialogue explored opportunities for curriculum development for KKUIC, the organization of joint research programs, and other joint projects designed for mutual benefits.

The meeting also laid the groundwork for a future Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between KKUIC and AIT Extension. Moreover, Mr. Voravate Chonlasin, who also serves as the Director of CIFAL Bangkok, introduced KKUIC to the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and CIFAL, discussing the possibility of joint activities that benefit students and the local community.
