KKUIC Participates in Academic Service Booth at ‘KKU CSV 2024’ – A Creative Contribution to Society Event with 40 Booths Serving the Community, Welcoming a Large Public Turnout

On Friday, September 6, 2024, Khon Kaen University organized the ‘Khon Kaen University Community Service Activity’ under the KKU CSV Project: Khon Kaen University Creating Value for Society 2024. The event was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, accompanied by Ajarn. Natsamon Thanakulrangsarit, Assistant to President for Special Affairs, along with university executives, faculty members, staff, and students who provided services to the community at Khon Kaen Railway Station, Khon Kaen Province.

In this event, Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC) representatives from both centers participated to strengthen relationships with the community, bringing knowledge to society through English teaching and consultation, as well as promoting agriculture and sustainable development through the Ugly Veggies Plus Project to create lasting value for society.

The Lifelong Learning Center and the Innovation and Sustainable Society Center represented the college by participating in community service booths. The Lifelong Learning Center provided English teaching services and offered consultation and advice on English language matters, while the Innovation and Sustainable Society Center recruited farmers interested in vegetable farming or those who already have farms, offering them the opportunity to participate in the Ugly Veggies Plus research project.

This activity enhances the image of KKUIC as a contributor to social development, promoting lifelong learning through English language education, and supporting sustainable development through the Ugly Veggies Plus Project. Additionally, it fosters positive relationships between the university and the community.
