KKUIC, led by Asst. Prof. Sirimonbhorn Thipsingh, Dean, Khon Kaen University International College, along with the management team, faculty members, and staff, joined in preserving Thai cultural heritage at the 2026 Songkran Festival. The event featured a Bathing Buddha Ceremony Images to bring auspiciousness and reinforce the beautiful cultural legacy within the institution.
In the evening, the management, staff, and students of KKUIC participated in the Songkran parade under the theme “Boun Deuan Ha: Procession of Faith, Honoring the Elders.” This participation aimed to carry forward the Heet Sip Song tradition and the invaluable cultural heritage of the Isan people.
Joining this celebration not only preserves the long-standing “Boun Deuan Ha” (Fifth Month Merit) tradition of Khon Kaen University but also demonstrates the unity of the staff in nurturing and sustaining arts and culture for the Isan region for generations to come.
