KKUIC Participates in the 10th Mekong Forum

On July 31, 2024, the 10th edition of the Mekong Forum was held under the theme “Breaking Through New Horizons: Digitalization, Innovation, and Technology in the GMS.

Khon Kaen University – International College (KKUIC) actively participated in the event, led by Asst. Prof. Sirimonbhorn Thipsingh, Dean; Assoc. Prof. Chavis Ketkaew, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Strategy, Research, and International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Phaninee Naruetharadhol, Ph.D., Director of the Center for Sustainable Innovation & Society (SIS); and Dr. Wei Yang, Division Chair of Marketing and International Relations for Lifelong Learning.

This year, the forum is set to welcome over 300 stakeholders from the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Mekong Institute, aiming to develop a subregional innovation strategy. This strategy seeks to harmonize regional frameworks for digital integration, transformation, and connectivity, thereby driving economic progress and resilience in the region.
