On July 19, 2024, Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC) hosted representatives from Utrecht University of Applied Sciences (UUAS), Netherlands, to discuss future academic collaborations. The meeting, held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chavis Ketkaew (Assoc. Dean for Strategy, Research, and International Affairs).
Ms. Sandra Valenbreder, a lecturer and project manager from UUAS, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kwankate, Kanistanon, Director of KKU International Affairs Division, attended along with other KKUIC faculty members. Discussions focused on potential student exchange programs and internships at non-profit organizations. Preliminary agreements included sending up to two students per semester for internships and possible waivers of tuition and fees. The meeting concluded with plans to draft a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize the collaboration.
