The 4th-year students of the Global Business (GB) program, Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC), had conducted the educational exhibition called “KKUIC Open House 2021” on 13-14 March 2021 at the Academic Center and Fundamentals Learning Building, Khon Kaen University. For that day, Prof. Dr. La-orsri Sanoamuang, Dean of KKUIC, was honor to preside over the opening ceremony together with KKUIC’s administrators and lecturers.
The exhibition is a part of the Seminar in Global Business Management subject. It aims to provide high school students and interested people the perceptions of college’s news and information; for instance, existing study programs, teaching and learning atmosphere, campus facilities, including the understanding upon a further study at the No.1 international college of Northeast, Thailand.
This year, in order to comply with the New Normal life among the situation of the COVID-19 epidemic, the event was organized in the form of online streaming via Facebook Page: KKUIC OPEN HOUSE (for Thai students access), and Zoom video conference (for international students access).
The activities on the event dates consist of KKUIC’s lecturers and alumni interview to exchange both academic knowledge and the experiences of university life; also, to build inspiration for pupils and people who are interested in studying at KKUIC through the Major Show Case of KKUIC’s 7 study programs:
1. Global Business (GB)
2. International Marketing (IM)
3. International Entrepreneurship (IE)
4. International Affairs (IA)
5. Tourism Management (TM)
6. Creative Media Technology (CMT)
7. International Journalism (IJ)
Moreover, the attendees could have fun with other various activities, such as talk shows, each major’s recreations, or workshops. Meanwhile, a lot of lucky draws were ready for these competitions.
Altogether, the KKUIC Open House exhibition’s management was successful and got excellent feedback from students, parents, and interested people overwhelmingly. It is considered a very creative and beneficial event for those during the period of admission to the higher education level.
